The Mergui archipelago lies only 120 nm north of Phuket and consists of a group of 800 islands of which only 50 are inhabited. Think deserted white beaches -and thanks to Myanmar’s preventing deforestation laws- lined with majestic stands of Burmese teak , Mahogany , strangler figs and other indigenous vegetation.
