Visit Scotland by yacht  before it gets too popular Best time to enjoy is May to October. The west coast is usually warmer due to the warm gulfstream   

The dramatic scenery, gorgeous anchorages, islands with castles, lochs and Celtic Fairy tales will keep you intrigued.  

 

Scotland's charm is in its picturesque rolling landscape and centuries of history.  You can enjoy a round of golf, in one of the many public village courses. For those you like shopping you will not find the usual brands but you can learn to love the little local boutiques.  

Cruising in the North (Hebrides) can be challenging due to large tides  but the wildlife is stunning: puffins, gannets, Whales, dolphins and you can often spot basking sharks plus the enormous  variety of seabirds.

 For Scotch whiskey lovers start in Oban and cruise the Isle of Skye, Mull, Eigg and Rhum.   

The Caledonian Canal cuts through the heart of Scotland via a chain of locks  including the famous Lock Ness, and  Nessie, and   old castles and sweeping mountains sprinkled with purple heather.
